SMASH: Fortress

SMASH: Fortress

    Players: 6
    Spawnpoints: 6
    Size: Medium
    Space: Open

A very small map broken up into many different levels, Fortress can be incredibly fun to play on. Despite many different indoor areas, you'll find that battles are incredibly varied - with many fights happening on the small islands connecting the top and bottom. Though there are many stories to this map, it is very easy to fall down all of them to your death, as there is a very large pit directly at the bottom. For many people, Fortress is among the best maps due to its close encounters, varied environment and wonderful build quality.

Spawnpoints are indicated with red (outside), blue (top inside) and yellow (middle inside) dots.

    • Try not to fight on the bottom levels, there are a few nasty holes.
    • This map is known for runners, make sure to keep an eye on them.

    • Before the May 2014 update it was possible to fly to the old Ice map in the northeast.
    • Fortress is a replica of the Super Smash Bros stage called Hyrule Temple.
    • Fortress is one of the original six maps.
