Question What do people do these days.

HI everyone on the forums. I hope all 12 of you that still play are having a good evening. I heard a few alarming things about the game recently, (namely that the pvp scene is mostly dead since I heard that one of the biggest groups got all blacklisted at once, and the other group quit in response.) This begs the question, what do people even do these days in the game?

no point to even farming dungeons cause there's no one to use the loot on anymore

The pve line was the nail in the coffin and the fact that there's not an entirely new map to play makes it even worse. Even DayZ, the game was MineZ based off of was mostly dead until modders started introducing custom maps into the game and it drew players back.

The only way MineZ will survive is by having an entirely-new map to explore with some better game mechanics and no bs pve line. The game is meant to be a hardcore zombie experience, but it turned into a loot-scoop dungeon crawler.

They made getting loot way to easy, the people who do become staff have no idea what becoming staff is about, and whether people like to admit it or not, there is bias or hidden bias from staff to the people they play with.

If they really wanted minez to be what it was, GP would be nuked, and would be much harder to get, along with dungeons actually being a challenge. So many dungeons are farmable that you dont use any supplies doing them over and over and just benefit. Staff are also happy that the two groups you named arent playing and would much rather them have 12 players and no fighting to 30-40 with maybe some shit talk and toxicity and much more fighting.

tl:dr they are killing the server themselves, and honestly its for the better

This line hurts so much, I have fears that year 10, this year, will be the final true year of MineZ, let alone Shotbow itself. There is some serious change that needs to occur.

What's GP?

I've brought 5 people on to the server to do the dungeons. I've also run into pvp a few times and just about have died every time I've had gear. I'll agree that getting loot is way way to easy and the PVE outside of dungeons needs to increase, but I dont think it needs an entire new map. The map is awesome seeing builds that are from like 2012 and seeing minecraft today.

Why are so many people getting blacklisted btw? heard that so many times over the years, weird.

BTT: I enjoy playing MineZ with my friends like 3-4 a year atm because it gives us a little bit of a nostalgic feeling but we never really know what to do. The new cities and building updates that came with origins look GREAT but you guys already said it: the lack of actual survival and pvp takes a lot of playability away. My friends and I used to love this game so much because we never knew when a bandit might kill us, or 5 server hoppers would log in... idk, they need to find a way to get more players in.

People get blacklisted because despite the admins “perfect judgement” a lot of them can’t tell someone cheating from a legit player if they tried. And there is absolutely 0 point in trying to fight your blacklist or ban, because they simply don’t listen or don’t care. You could write a fucking 2000 word essay with hours and hours of gameplay footage and they still think what they want to.
