i just wanted know to whether it is possible to become obsidian or emerald via. old xp payment.

Yes you can. Be sure to have a copy of the transaction receipt, as that'll be really useful when it comes time to upgrade from platinum to a higher rank. It's $250 and $500 in total purchases to be eligible for emerald and obsidian, respectively. When you've reached either of those marks, send lazertester/highlife a support ticket via Contact Us, along with a copy of your receipt.

So you can buy a friend plat and another gold to get to emerald?

This will only work if:

• You brought Platinum first for yourself from your account with no discounts (100 USD paid)
• You buy Platinum and Gold for friends from your account with no discounts (150 USD paid)

Even better is to pay all purchases from the same Paypal account - so there is no attribution problems.

Discounted packages count as their full value. If you were to use the current coupon code "SUNNY" during the purchase of platinum, it will still put you 100 USD closer to Emerald.

That said, The last i heard, All donations/purchases need to be for "the same account" for it to be coinsidered as an upgrade for emerald or obsidian. The exception being if you contact HighlifeTTU beforehand and arrange it.

This is because several members abused the old system of "buying for anyone" and upgraded several accounts on the same purchases.

Because this takes so long to verify, it now needs pre-approved if you are buying for others to get yourself to emerald / obsidian.

Make sure you speak to highlife if you are platinum, and are upgrading via buying others ranks BEFORE you buy. Otherwise, they may count for the person you are buying for rather than yourself.
