    • General Legendary Changes
      • Tenseiga
        • Reworked Tenseiga, go check out the headhunt to get it!
      • Binding bow
        • 3 more seconds of slowness on any range
        • The Binding Bow had an issue where if a player stopped to shoot while another player was running, the slowness wouldn’t last long enough to allow the player to catch up with their target and would cause the player to lose ground. With the added slowness this should not be an issue anymore.
      • Acid Vial
        • Plays sound on armor damage tick
        • It was hard to figure out if the Acid Vile was actually working on a target. This should help clear up when the Vile takes armor durability.
      • Shotbow
        • 6 hearts of damage with 8 arrows
        • Arrows don’t drop anymore
        • Cooldown of 3 seconds
        • The Shotbow didn’t work how it was intended to at all. Now the function is more in line with that of a shotgun dealing massive damage up close but each individual arrow not dealing much at all. This is more of an experimental change we’ll look back at soon.
      • Binding Helmet
        • Chance to slow 20 -> 10
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • No longer takes 2 durabilities on consumption
        • The Binding Helmet was a strong item in combination with other legendary items, but relatively weak on its own due to its durability consumption. We changed the durability consumption and reduced the activation percentage to allow for a little more use on its own but still be a relatively strong item just with a little more longevity.
      • Giants Brew
        • Strength duration increased from 20 to 40 seconds
        • The Giant’s Brew is a drop from a contested mob, however, it isn’t close to good enough to warrant use. With this change, you now have more time with increased firepower and hopefully, deliver a little more “oomph” when using.
      • Corsair’s Edge
        • Increased diamond sword damage decreased from 18% -> 15%
        • Costs 2 durability
        • The Corsair’s Edge is a rock paper scissors match where if the person you’re fighting has a diamond sword, it's over for them. This change allows for the target more of a chance to win than before.
      • Muramasa
        • Removed internal cooldown
        • Added 15 percent activation chance
        • Now checks if the player has saturation and takes that first
        • Takes 1.5 hunger
        • The Muramasa has been the same since its release. These changes will hopefully allow the Muramasa to perform the same as before, but a little more intuitive in its usage. These are also some more experimental changes that we will look back to soon.
      • Peace
        • Weakness increased from I -> II
        • Peace has no power behind it. It was virtually a coin toss diamond sword that you or your target might get affected by. All in all, this legendary had no use other than being a diamond sword and hopefully, this change will make it a little stronger.
      • Vampyr
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • Now heals 0.25 on high health and 0.4 on low health against players
        • Now heals 0.4 on high health and 0.7 on low health against zombies
        • The Vampyr was a little on the weaker side in terms of health regeneration. This change allows for more longevity in fights and now in dungeons too.
      • Ninja Sandals
        • Ninja sandals are now pristine
        • Ninja sandals reset speed when on hit even when speed is already active
        • Ninja Sandals were in the awkward state of being better than Simoon’s Sonata but still worse off due to the protection you lose from wearing them. With the upgrade to Pristine Chain, they now should function as a good kiting tool and a strong option for PvP.
      • Frost Walker
        • Ice duration increased from 10s -> 20s
        • Reduced durability cost from 10 -> 5
        • Frost Walkers were probably the most underwhelming legendary in the game. There was no applicable use for these boots and with this change the effect now allows you to run long distances quickly across oceans and chase down people swimming away from you.
      • Endeavor
        • Damage buff percentage increased from 60% -> 80%
        • The Endeavor felt like a pool noodle when hitting players with it, even at low health. With this change, the Endeavor really has some power behind it now.
      • Flail
        • Adjusted damage to deal more damage at the start but end up with the same damage
        • Absorption hearts from 1 to 2
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • The Flail was really situational after its most recent rework. This change allows it to be a little more effective at higher health and also rewards the player for using it more as well with the absorption heart increase.
      • Masamune
        • Removed regeneration
        • Now gives 2 absorption hearts for 1 minute
        • The Masamune was a better Lone Sword. With these changes, the Masamune functions as another portion of the swiss army knife swords.
      • Pluvia’s Storm
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • Now gives 4 hunger and 2.7 saturation on use 180 second cooldown
        • An exciting rework! MineZ now has the complete swiss army knife of right-click swords. This sword is the food portion of the aforementioned knife that gives the player essentially the consumption of an apple.
      • Pluvia’s Tempest
        • Increased activation percent from 8% -> 10%
        • Decreased durability consumption from 2 -> 1
        • Pluvia’s Tempest was a bit too inconsistent in its healing, and with the added dura loss, was erring on the side of being a worse option than a standard chestplate. We want to make the healing it offers shine a little more, and encourage its use by lowering the cost in dura.
      • Pluvia’s Rain
        • Steals 2.5 hunger points or saturation points when hit
        • The old effect of Pluvia’s Rain was fun, but in practice never functioned quite how it was supposed to. We’ve kept the same concept, while making it significantly more consistent to encourage its use, while still being effective when people are at high saturation levels.
      • Pluvia’s Hail
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • Now heals 7 hearts instantly
        • Also gives 6 saturation
        • Pluvia’s Hail has a nice theme of being a strong healing item, but we felt that it didn’t hit that theme hard enough. We’ve increased the strength of the item to make it worth using over splashing a few times or chugging a normal health potion. The saturation will help truly top people off whether it be mid-dungeon, or in the midst of a long fight.
      • Therum Strength
        • Activation chance lowered from 20 to 10
        • Resistance time from 4 to 5
        • Therum’s Strength simply was proccing too often in combat, providing the effect too often, allowing the resistance effect to be too oppressive for opponents. We’ve lowered the chances of it while increasing the duration so players will still feel that peak moment when it procs for longer, while increasing the amount of time it’s down for opponents to play around.
      • Therum’s Power
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • Percentage from 20 to 10
        • Dura from 2 to 1
        • We want to make sure that legendaries are finding good, consistent reasons to be used. One of the ways we’re tackling this is to reduce dura costs, but in the case of Therum’s Power, we also needed to address how quickly it could shred through someone’s armor, especially when the fight wasn’t started with maximum durability armor.
      • Agni’s Rage
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • Probability lowered to 10
        • Much like the other legendary swords in this patch, Agni’s Rage was triggering its effects a bit too often, making the uptime of the fire seem nearly constant. By lowering the proc chance, we maintain the identity of the item while allowing a bit more breathing room for other players.
      • Agni’s Wrath
        • Chance from 15 to 10
        • Agni’s Wrath was becoming too potent in PvP after the changes to i-frames, allowing it’s damage ticks to overwhelm an individual or a group of players very quickly. We’ve lowered its proc chance to give opponents a little bit of breathing room when playing against it.
      • Agni’s Ire
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • Removed fire
        • A minor change, we removed the fire effect to keep the theme of the Ire in line with its true purpose - to clear out hordes of zombies effectively.
      • Simoon’s Song
        • Removed internal cooldown to make it more consistent
        • Increased durability consumption from 1 -> 10
        • Simoon’s Song is one of, if not the most iconic legendary item in the game. Currently, it has a few issues making its procs unreliable, which we’ve fixed, but we want to tune down the amount of fights Simoon’s Song lasts. Many of them will last through multiple fights due to how few times they need to be used to be effective. This will hopefully keep its power in check without taking away from its most iconic ability.
      • Simoon’s Melody
        • Arrows needed from 3 to 1
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • Simoon’s Melody is a unique enough item, and the effect is potent in a few scenarios. However, its uses were gated by how many arrows were needed to bring to a fight to make it viable to use. We’ve lowered the arrow cost in the hopes of making it a more viable option for PvP, and perhaps find some PvE uses for it as well.
      • Simoon’s Sonata
        • Resets speed on hit
        • Speed lowered 4
        • Now gives speed when the player hits another player instead of getting hit
        • Simoon’s Sonata will see a complete shift with these changes. Before, the legendary gave speed one when hit, acting almost like a worse version of Ninja Sandals. Now, the item gives speed when a player hits their target. This will (hopefully) be the fresh coat of paint this legendary needed.
      • Simoon’s Tune
        • Removed jump boost
        • Effect duration from 30 to 40
        • Simoons Tune provides a significant speed boost that is otherwise mostly unavailable. We wanted to bring it in line with other speed buffs, while also keeping the unique-ness of jump boost to things like Rabbit’s Feet and Eillom Ale.
      • Dentril’s Fear
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • Chance lowered from 25 to 10
        • Effect duration from 3 to 4
        • Removed nausea
        • We’ve removed Nausea across the board, as it was more of an annoyance than an actual feature for the items. That said, Dentril’s Fear was able to proc too consistently with such a high chance. We’ve lowered the chances of it happening so opponents don’t feel like they’re under the effects 100% of the time. In turn, we’ve increased the duration of the poison to help compensate for that trade off, so the user still gets good mileage out of the weapon.
      • Dentrils Fright
        • Arrows needed reduced from 5 -> 2
        • Nausea effect removed
        • Poison duration increased from 2s -> 6s
        • Arguably one of the worst legendary items in the game, the Dentril’s Fright was atrocious. With these changes, the bow should have a definite change in viability and allow for more common use.
      • Dentril’s Terror
        • Poison duration increased from 4s -> 5s
        • Name and lore updated to be consistent
        • Removed nausea effect
        • Dentril’s Terror is a unique armor that wasn’t quite hitting the mark. We’ve increased the poison duration to allow for a bit more damage and damage ticks, so attackers feel a bit more pressure from its effects, instead of a mild deterrent.

    Saward Crypt was once a dungeon where someone could solo; however, due to some balancing issues, it was removed quickly. We have allowed this dungeon to be soloable again, with a slight nerf to iron rates. This change is very experimental and can be tweaked in a future patch!

    • Grapple:
      • Horizontal grapple move distance has been nerfed at a long distance (distance between a player and a hook)
      • Overall grapple cooldown has become shorter.
      • Horizontal grapple now has a different cooldown based on the distance moved. The shorter the distance is, the shorter the cooldown becomes.
      • Horizontal grapple dura loss at a short distance: 8 > 5
      • Grapples are now repairable. (In a crafting inventory the name shows 'Fishing Rod', but after crafting it's changed to Weak Grapple)
      • Improved grapple hook detection. You can now grapple without your hook fully attached to the ground. This could potentially make players with high ping have a shorter response time for their grapple pulls and prevent a situation where a grapple hook gets stuck in a half block or stairs.
    "Buffed short distance grapple and added more factors to it to encourage more strategical grapple uses in a fight rather than simply using it for chasing/running away every 30s."
    • PvP:
      • Fixed an issue where the knockback was being cancelled out when two players look at the opposite direction and trade hits.
      • Tweaked player knockback
      • Arrow knockback now depends on the bow force when it gets shot. The longer the bow is pulled, the more knockback the arrow does. Bowspamming will barely do any knockback, but a longer pull will do a significant amount of knockback.
      • Fixed a bug where setting custom invisible damage ticks caused some damages not being applied (fall damage, grenade, fire, poison etc). All player damage ticks are now the same as vanilla.
      • Fixed a bug where grenade throwing while looking at a block was cancelled.
      • Critical hit bonus damage: 30% of base damage > 50% of base damage (same as vanilla)
    • Dentril's Fear:
      • Poison chance: 33% > 25%
      • Poison level: 4 > 2
    "Dentril's Fear is one of the most powerful DoT(Damage Over Time) legendaries and was heavily buffed to hotfix damage frame issue a few months ago. We're reverting Dentril's Fear as the damage frame bugfix makes the current one too powerful."
