I am robertham I have been playing this server since 2013. On march 31st 2025 a known streamer played Minez. This brought the player count to max for the server! (First in a long time!) There were many people joining to play with this streamer. Many of these people joining were already known players on the server. All of these people were allowed to play with this streamer, except for me. I joined the server this streamer was on and moved to their location. I see a giant group of 30 players going to a location known as "Floating Islands". I was near them for exactly one minute and eight seconds before I was banned. The reason for my ban was "stream sniping". I did not swing my sword once. Immediately following my ban I join on another account and say in chat I was false banned. That account was instantly muted. Again I join on another account and say in now local chat (a chat only players 200 blocks near you can see) saying I got muted. That account was then almost instantly muted as well. All the mutes were for the reason "inappropriate speech". This now raises the question: Why were the other players not banned as well for stream sniping? These other players were all free to roam with this streamer however they choose. Why was this streamer not messaged to be put on the media server instead? Why was PVE not opened for this streamer instead? Does this mean admin abuse will be tolerated from now on? Are admins allowed to just make rules up on the fly? If I am to play and open a stream up is anyone who goes near me then going to be banned? Shortly after this streamer died in game, I was unbanned and given a discord direct message by an admin named Jacobsmile. This direct message stated the following: "You're unbanned. It won't count on your record. Stream sniping is a rule, but generally not a full week." I guess I really am the king. You need to ban me for just showing my face. I expect an apology from everyone involved. This is wrong and you know it.
