Question I literally have no ELO anymore from one day to the other.

I was #3 on EU yesterday with 1128 ELO. Joined the queue today and didnt even realize what actually happened, i was confused that i had 2 1000s and a 1020 as opponent since that shouldnt be possible. However during the match i just noticed that my ELO dropped back to 1000 for literally no reason. I didnt play ranked since i checked the boards last time where i clearly had 1128. Did that kind of bug ever happen to anyone is my question now.

I think the matchup system has always been that bad xd, hope they fix it this year xd.

The Elo of my alt was reseted too... Few minutes ago i had 1045...

It happened to SirTrisha in our games too. He just suddenly reset and lost nearly 100 elo.

You mention "in your games". For the purposes of debugging, do you know when the issue occurs? Is it during a match, immediately after the match when match elo adjustments are applied, between matches, when relogging, some other time? (It's fine if you don't know, but the most that's known about it, the easier it is to fix quickly)

Oops, yeah. Well we were playing ranked and a certain two people that I won't publicly name/shame kept dodging every single ranked game so each match we did was 1v1 instead of 4 players. We basically ended up only playing each other in ranked for about 6 games in a row, and while the matches didn't end that fast, I'd say they probably lasted around 5 mins each ranked game, Sir won every single one.

I'm not sure if it occurred after the match or on the start of the next one. One game he was 1100+ and the next when we were back in a ranked match I realised he had dropped down to 1030s or around there. Nothing unusual happened like a server crash or restart.

My only guess is that if there's some sort of anti-cheat system in place that tries to detect when people earn more elo than should be possible then it's over sensitive.

For your information, when it happened to me i was not online. It basically resetted throughout the night without my account being logged in. Now that it happened to others aswell i am pretty sure no one hacked me and deranked by suciding ranked matches between that time.

In the morning I reported a player for offending me. At this moment I had 1045 Elo with my alt. 20 minutes later ranked started and it shows me 1000 Elo. In this 20 Minutes anything happend that reduced my elo...

If you find any other trends, more information is always better than less. If you somehow stumble upon full recreation steps, pm it to an admin.

So you're saying his elo dropped, but not to 1000, but rather to the 1030s when he was affected?

I thought it dropped down to 1030s.
It's certainly possible it happened a few matches before I noticed and it did actually drop to 1000 instead. I could go look over my video footage to be sure?

If it isn't too much of an inconvenience. If not everyone gets reset to 1000, that could shine more light on the nature of the issue, and is certainly worth knowing.

Another question: All of you are primarily EU players (from what I know and could deduce from the current leaderboard). Have any of you heard of or experienced this issue on US?

Gosh I'm slow.
All of our matches he'd already been dropped down. I therefore can't say anything about what was happening when it did drop because I wasn't yet playing with him. My earliest match he's at 1002 so I presume the bug was indeed a drop to 1000.

I think we are all EU players. Unfortunately I don't think US players tend to chat with us on the forums that much any more so honestly I have no idea if it's a regional thing or not.

As far as i know only EU Players had that problem. Ive asked Hydro if he noticed anything about that topic but no response yet.

Working on that bug is one thing. Another thing that interests me and surely anyone else affected aswell. Will i get my ELO back or not? Im pretty sure that Admins can already reply on that without the problem being solved yet.

Either WantToBeTrisha or WantToBeAxxy reported that their elo got reset to 990. Crucially NOT 1000

Seems like the same happened to me. i had 1033 before, won a match, got 14 elo. And now, I'm suddenly at 1014

When you queued up and got into the match, did it show "1000" behind your name on the stats appearing at 15 seconds before the match starts?

Honestly, i have no idea. I wasn't really paying attention to it.

The issue should be fixed - It was a bug caused during the EU host change.
