    I had in idea a while back about enchanting. Smite and Bane are torturing players and I thought if the bad enchantments were turned into buffs for the sword. Each level of smite could add a 5.0% chance of hunger for 30 seconds, and bane could add poison.. Just a thought! Ideas and feedback appreciated.

    I think that this could be interesting.

    I like the Smite idea, and I'd say it's pretty fair.

    Meanwhile, I like the idea of Bane of Arthropods, but I think that it will need a bit more specifying. Maybe a 15% chance to give Poison I for 8 seconds? Sounds a little OP, but I think that it could vary based on the level of the enchantment. With Bane I maybe giving a 5% chance to give poison I for 4 seconds? That's just an example, but I do like the premise for the idea.

    I would say bane I would be 3% chance of poison I for 2 seconds, and for every level it increases it would become stronger until bane V with 15% chance and poison I for 10 seconds.

    And for smite, it sounds pretty good and it could help stop enemies from getting away.

    I'm 1/2 n 1/2 on this idea. mainly cause i don't want every single player to get a terrifyingly good sword easily

    I have a good plan for this:

    Bane of Arthropods:
    Lvl 1: 3% for Poison for 2 seconds
    Lvl 2: 6% for Poison for 4 seconds
    Lvl 3: 8% for Poison II for 6 seconds
    Lvl 4: 10% for Poison II for 8 seconds
    Lvl 5: 15% for Poison III for 10 seconds

    Smite:
    Lvl 1: 5% for Hunger for 3 seconds
    Lvl 2: 10% for Hunger for 6 seconds
    Lvl 3: 15% for Hunger II for 9 seconds
    Lvl 4: 20% for Hunger II for 12 seconds
    Lvl 5: 25% for Hunger III for 15 seconds

    Looting:
    Lvl 1: 5% to gain Iron ore or Gold ore when killing enemies
    Lvl 2: 5% to gain Iron ore, Gold ore, or a Diamond when killing enemies
    Lvl 3: 10% to gain 2 Iron ores, 2 Gold ores, or a Diamond when killing enemies

    Silk Touch:
    Lvl 1: 5% to heal your nexus when attacking another (Stacks with handyman)

    Unbreaking:
    Lvl 1: Stays with you when you die, loses a level each time you die
    Lvl 2: Same thing
    Lvl 3: Same thing

    Fortune:
    Lvl 1: 5% to give double ores when mining (Stacks with Miner)
    Lvl 2: 10% to give double ores when mining (Stacks with Miner)
    Lvl 3: 15% to give double ores when mining (Stacks with Miner)

    Protection: (Any kind)
    Automatically changes into normal Protection

    I just would love to see the custom enchanting system that saunders scrapped long time ago. It was really intensive to fight others with Blood-lust III Sharpness III Poison II Fire Aspect I Dash I Unbreaking II iron sword. Or atleast get our golems back.

    But... Projectile Protection is great for archers... And not taking bow damage while charging someone...
