For years he had been waiting for this. A once in a century event. Or at least it used to be. He had participated in games like this before realizing what the game really was. So he rebelled. Gathering a group of the best players he fought back. He fought back and failed. After the rebellion he was the only one left. The only one left out of ten million people. For years he trained, watching the game grow from the shadows. But now was his time to strike. Many new people have been turning out to be great fighters, with a few of them having the potential to be great leaders. So he had to gather the best. And only the ones who would work against the admins. All it would take was some well placed hints, the right actions at the right time. And now he gathered them. He would ensure they were all in one group. All he had to do then was take the place of someone else. He expected it to be hard, to be next to impossible to pull off what he planned to do. But then the day of the event he felt something. Another one was coming.
This is your move? he thought. Why another one? Why now?
He had to make sure this new one would be on his side. While he felt sure he could fight the other one, he could not fight two of them, no matter how new they might be. The pieces were in place now, his plans set in mind. Now all that was left was the start of the game. And he was ready.

It was a long line. The biggest line anyone had seen in their lifetimes. It stretched for miles between Thrandwil and Carthanc, two major cities located in the West. Luckily the line moved quickly. Unluckily David was stuck at the beginning of it. He had been pulled from his home to participate in this event. Ordinarily people wouldn't mind participating in Annihilation, but this game was different.
"Next!" called the sign in lady.
    "Name," she asked David.
    "David Murphy," he replied.
She looked down at the computer on her desk, and scanned the list of names to find which class and team he would be on. David saw her eyes widen, and she leaned down to push a button. Suddenly he was in a different room. It was very neat, with everything organized and symmetrical. The walls seemed to be made of some sort of metal that he didn't know of, and the floor and ceiling were made of the same material. Then he noticed that there was someone in front of him sitting at a huge desk. There was nothing on it save for a piece of paper. Though most the man was hidden in shadows, David could see he was muscular and had sharp features. For a long while they were both silent, and it seemed a bit awkward to him. Then when David opened his mouth to try and say something, the man spoke.
"You have been chosen," the man said. His voice was deep and rich.
"Um, chosen for what exactly?" David responded.
"You have been chosen," the man continued "for a special class. This class has no name, so if you come up with one, inform one of the admins to tell me."
"What does-" started David. The man interrupted
"This class can use the powers of other classes that around them. All of the limits that apply to the original class also apply to you."
David took in what he had said, and replied
"But if this class has no name, how will people know I'm not hacking?"
    The man chuckled, and stated
"They won't, but that makes it fun. Now, remember that you cannot tell anyone of this, or you will be taken."
Then with those last words David found himself back at the sign in desk.
