Annihilation Clan Wars | Summer Season

A serie of the events for Shotbow community by Team Nexus

Hello everyone, in this post we will explain how our clan war events work. As you know, in last Spring we had a big clan war season and it got very big support and made Annihilation more fun. So we want to continue this. You can see informations about the Spring 2020 season here, also end of the season post here.

- The special clan war as opening of Summer Season -

In the last season the top three were: 1- TeamTurkish, 2- hmky and 3- Mizu
Again thankyou so much to TeamTurksh, hmky, Mizu, Team Clowned, APL, UchihandGo1d, Dear, CT, PDO, Oblivion, rawr, LUD and Alice for joining our clan war events.

We and the community believed the events are pretty good but need to change something. So we asked the community.

Before the new changes, let's talk about how the event system goes to the new people:

As you know Annihilation is playable by 4 teams. If more than 4 clans apply we need to make a draw or if we have more enough clans then we can organize second. third or forth match. We host the matches in Sandbox server by JTGangsterLP6 (Anni Co-Lead) and DJ_Pedro. They whitelist the players that going to play in the match. So other people can not join. Every matches will give you point and these points will specify winner of the season. We can not give a prize since these events organized by the community (Team Nexus).

Event Schedule
We organize 2 matches per 2 weekends. So event schedule will be like (EU based time, might be changed):
July 11 & 12
July 25 & 26
August 8 & 9
August 22 & 23
September 5 & 6 (?)

Time
The possible match times:
2 PM GMT - 10 AM EST - 11 PM JST
6 PM GMT - 2 PM EST - 3 AM JST
7 PM GMT - 3 PM EST - 4 AM JST
9 PM GMT - 5 PM EST - 6 AM JST

The Queue System
1- New clans
2- Clans that couldn't join by losing the draw
3- Winner of the last match
4- Clans that played in the past matches
5- Invited clans

Points
First: 5 points
Second: 3 points
Third: 1 points
Forth: 0 point
Most nexus damage: +2 points
If winner damages most: +1 point

Maps
There will be a poll for choosing maps. But the maps in the poll depend how many matches will be in the tour. For example, there will be 3 matches in first tour. So the map poll will be Coastal, Canyon and Nature. After the draw the resuslts: first match: Canyon, second match: Nature and third match: Coastal (this is an example).
We asked clan leaders which maps do you want to prefer to play in clan wars, also we believed these maps are good for clan wars. So here is our map polls:

1 match: Coastal
2 matches: Coastal + Canyon
3 matches: Coastal + Canyon + Nature
4 matches: Coastal + Canyon + Nature + Aftermath2.0
5 matches: Coastal + Canyon + Nature + Aftermath2.0 + Grasslands


Classes
In every match we will ask clan leaders which classes do you want to disable. If 2 clans say vote X class we can't disable it, but if 3 leaders vote to disable a class then we will disable it.

How to watch?
Generally we are trying to find streamers from Shotbow staff team to stream it in offical Youtube channel of Shotbow. If we can't find a streamer for the match then JTGangsterLP6 records the match then uploads in Shotbow Youtube channel.

Questions & Answers
Q: How to join the event?
A: You must be in a clan. If you are a clan leader then you can apply to join by PM-ing me in Shotbow forum or DM-ing me in Discord (please do not disturb Shotbow staffs about that). If you are just a member then your clan leader must apply. We always have to contact with the leaders.

Q: Ok we have decided to join, what do we need to do join?
A: You need 12 members that will play in name of your clan.

Q: We don't have enough member for that, we need more member. But we still want to join. What should we do?
A: You can find another people that will play in name of your clan. He doesn't have to be in your clan. But he will represent your clan.

Q: Our a clan mate have up to join the match? Can we choose another player?
A: Yes, if someone in your roster don't want to play you can change it.

Q: Some people in the roster have changed their Minecraft name. Is that a problem?
A: Since server will be whitelisted, you definitely must tell us the name changes.

Hello again,

I like the idea of the new queue system!
At the start of each season every clan should be considered "new"! This way every clan has the chance to play once before the winners can play.
It appears that after one cycle of each clan playing, the winners only have a match and I think thats a really good design! This way the best out of the best can come out on top. Instead to the old one where the winners were put vs not winners and even new clans.
