    Two changes:
    1. Max hearts is 17 from 20. He will still only get 1/2 a heart per kill past 15 hearts
    2. Hearts gained per kill at 7 hearts up from 1 to 1 1/2 up to 10 hearts
    With this, Berserker now only needs 2 kills to get to 10 hearts, needs 5 kills to get to 15 hearts and can get 4 more kills to get to 17.
    I propose these changes because it feels a bit insane for Berserkers with 20 hearts, but 15 hearts doesn't feel like quite enough still. 17 hearts still gives Berserker more hearts, but not the double health.
    It's also a real pain to get back to 10 hearts when you start, so getting a small buff to how many hearts you gain earlier lets you get to the default health amount quicker.

    I understood 15 - 20 hearts requiring only melee kills as it would be insane to let someone get to 20 using a bow from 50 meters away. 15 - 17, however? I feel like it's less of a problem.

    Berserker is fairly balanced right now it takes ages to build up those hearts and takes very little to lose them all. This change in insignificant there would be better ways to deal with the issue. Even then the whole point of the class is to be a grind its an alternative to enchanting, you spend the time and are rewarded. Perhaps berserker is unable to use a bow or the damage of the bow is significantly reduced much like robbinhood is but the opposite.

    FIFTY METERS? Even someone is skilled, no, lucky enough to get kills at 50 meters they wont be able to do it reliably.
    Even if getting rid of gating kills to weapon types is less of a problem, its already coded in and is functionally identical when leveling up. If you're going to suggest its removal you should probably have a reason.

    I'm also curious why you think Berserker needs the change. It already makes switching classes cost you all of your Berserker hearts, I don't think I want building Berserker to be easier to build because it would probably increase the amount of berserkers playing despite the hp nerf.

    Like Archer with the +1, but instead every bow does -1? That wouldn't be terrible.
    I don't think Berserker NEEDS the change, I give ideas and see what people think so I can gauge what I think with the community. It's a suggestion rather than a necessity.
    I exaggerated the 50 meters, that's more of a Sniper thing anyways. And, after some further thoughts, Succubus is a decent counter, and Berserker, I would argue, is a really good defense class (even at 7 hearts, the extra damage is arguably enough to balance out the problem). I'll see how much I can abuse this class further with the extra damage on higher armour foes.

    So, where I'm coming from is when a Berserker gets to 20 hearts and decides to rush a team with full Prot IV and 3+ gapples. Any amount of hearts with full Prot IV gappled is ridiculous and having twice the health makes it even more ridiculous. There are many ways to easily get to 20 hearts, including swapper+immo, swapper+knockback II near void (not as useful for 15-20), Power V bow (again, 15-20 isn't useful), Sharp V+invis+no armour. It's really not hard if you have the teamwork (Berserker isn't the best when solo).

    I was playing a Nature and a Berserker, 20 hearts, full diamond (prot II, III, IV, no idea what), gapples ran up to the nexus and my whole team of 20 was attacking him. No one could kill him. All of us attacking him and he got us from 75-10 with very little issue. This should never be able to happen.

    I made this out of frustration more than anything.

    Lumberjack m8. Bloodmage close second. You need to poke gold mine and destroy farmland.

    It should be possible, because it takes A LOT of time to put all of that stuff together. Before phase 3 all you can set up is gold apples (on farmer) and possibly potions. Then you need diamonds. Then you need four really good enchants (usually level 30's) that push your EPF to 14 or so. He was stacking everything in the game that makes him stronger and he still lost. Ive stacked like that before and then I got void swapped. It sucks.

    A group of leathers with decent teamwork and the right classes is more effective than a single gear stacked person. Ive been looking for someone to play with recently for exactly this reason.

    P.S. He probably didn't have enderpearls. Then he could survive.

    You still have to grind to be op, if you spend that much time you should be rewarded it is not much different than gappleing.
