MineZ - Just Another Day in MineZ (MineZ story told in poetry.)

I woke by the fire, I killed a few zeds.
I ate a few cookies and got out of bed.
I parkoured up the Spire, and got a grenade.
I went to Huntsgrove and found me a spade.
Then a horde of zombies almost killed me,
I shrugged to myself, and said "Just another day in MineZ."

I was getting hungry, so I went to Grimdale.
I got infected then I found a milk pail.
I drunk it all, then I found me some bread.
Then a few bandits almost made me dead.
I threw my grenade and blew one to bits.
Then their arrows on me scored some hits.
I drunk a potion, then I started to flee.
And I thought to myself, Just Another Day in MineZ.

I went to Yawpton to get me some chain.
Then to my anger it started to rain.
I ran in the house and someone else was seen.
I blocked then I asked him to team.
He said yes, but then he started to attack.
I cut off his legs then broke his dang back.
Most people who did this would have felt guilty,
but for me, it's just Another Day in MineZ.

But during the fight I had started to bleed.
And since my bread was gone, I had no way to feed.
I decided to beg, or maybe trade.
And soon I had some melons and a grenade.
I still had no bandage, however.
    I just couldn't bleed forever!
If I did, I'd die all alone.

But I had been faced with this situation before.
And soon I had found me a door.
I went through it, and I found some paper.
Now that I was bandaged, I was definitely safer.
But my potions had run out. My stone sword had broke!
I thought I was going to die, or get choked.
But luckily, the potions in the church weren't gone.
And to my luck, I found a new sword before dawn.
I went to sleep, and I survived, lucky me.
I had survived Just Another Day in MineZ!

I then woke up in the archery range.
And the atmosphere around me seemed a bit strange.
Nobody was there, nobody was around.
No zombies also, coming up out of the ground.
I wondered what happened, with nobody but me.
And then I saw something, it's fire I see!
I quickly ran out of Grimdale, scared as can be.
But then I thought, Just Another Day in MineZ.

Danger is everywhere. Bandits want your stuff.
Everyone and everything is just so rough.
This is MineZ I tell you, you've got to find out
How to find food and weapons, but I doubt
That I'm going to be living for much longer.
I'm tired, I'm weary, I'm really not much stronger.
I'm not sure if I'm able to survive the zombies,
I'm not sure if I'm able to stand Just Another Day in MineZ.

I need a friend to help me survive.
I need someone to help me revive.
The positive attitude that I once had is gone.
I hate how the zombies continually spawn.
    But there's someone I spotted, he's bleeding I see.
Bleeding in the wasteland of lazertester's MineZ.
I offered him some help, and he gave in return,
Agni's Rage, which will make enemies burn!
Now I know, I can definitely see
That I'll survive another day in MineZ!

We went to Portsmouth, and we started a team,
That soon grew to a size of seventeen.
The 17 of us decided to go,
To the place known as Ridgevale, in the snow.
We soon all had iron swords and chain armor, the whole group.
And since there were 17 of us, we had formed a troop.

We soon recruited new members to our cause,
And then we came to the church of PauseUnpause
We stocked up on potions, and then a clan
Of bandits wanted to put a stop to our plan.
We fought and we shot, and soon we won,
But the battle surely wasn't fun
We lost 15 members of our team,
    Compared to their 23.
At least I've survived another Day in MineZ.

The last of us then went to St. Roseluck.
And when we heard zombies we started to duck,
The horde rushed at us and started to kill,
And their undead stomachs they started to fill,
We lost two people to that undead bunch,
And I had got sick as they started to munch,
With anger in our hearts we sliced through the horde,
And after we killed them we had soon scored,
Twenty-seven zombies we all killed that day,
And I was in the middle of the dangerous fray,
And I am as sad and as tired as can be,
But I've survived another Day in MineZ.

Now our group is down to only 4,
We've looted the town, every corner,
We're now stocked on almost all the food we can eat
Melons, cookies, apples bread, even a little meat.
We're getting better loot, like power II bows that shoot
Powerful arrows that can puncture an iron boot.
We might kill a giant and get a diamond sword
That's made from diamonds, it's hard to forge.
So we're off to the Floating Islands,
    And we've looted the place,
But this teammate with us has fell down in space.
Another one got killed by zombie pigmen.
And no one's alive except me and my friend.
Maybe we're alone in this World of zombies,
But I've survived Another Day in MineZ.

We're going to kill a giant, to get the diamond sword,
But traveling in this World makes us bored.
So we're talking and walking until we confront
2 pigmen, with their scary grunt.
We shot at them, and out popped of them
Little baby zombies that are going to kill him.
I guess this is the end now, I'm dead.
This is the end. It'll go over my head.
I may have been ever to survive the day before me,
But I won't be able to survive Another Day in MineZ.

But then out of the blue, out of nowhere,
Someone just showed up and saved my hair,
My friend is dead though, and it's just me and him,
In the gravel plains, where the dust makes it dim.
We're going to Al Hasa, to refill on potions,
Then a bandit clan caused a commotion.
They fired at us, trying to kill us,
We continually ran until we were covered in dust.
As I and my friend had started to flee,
I thought to myself, Just Another Day in MineZ.

We ran and we ran and continued to rout
Until of potions, bread, water we were out.
We needed to head south to supply.
If we didn't do it soon, we'd definitely die.
So we headed down south, until we hit Roseluck.
And while we were gearing up, my friend had got stuck.
I tried to free him, only to fail.
Then he got infected, and needed a milk pail.
I had gave him it, and soon he had got free.
To my relief, it's Just Another Day In MineZ.

But then when we left we encountered the Clique
And they wanted our stuff, we had to get out quick!
We sprinted away, and attracted a horde.
The Clique were tired of chasing, and soon had got bored.
So we hid in a hole until they lost us.
Then we heard someone who started a fuss.
I poked out my head and he started to shoot
Between me and my friend I knew he wanted loot.
We shot him to death, and we shot his body,
I thought to myself, Just Another Day in MineZ.

But after we killed him then came his friends.
They wanted to put our lives to our ends.
We tried to convince them that he attacked first,
But at understanding us, they were the worst.
We ran away while they weren't looking.
But we ran into a giant, the most savage thing.
It wanted to murder my friend and me.
But things like that are only part of MineZ.

He ran at my friend, wanting to consume
Me and my friend, and it looked like I was doomed.
We fought with every bit of our might
But we failed, we did that dark night.
My friend is gone, and I'm almost dead.
I'm dying alone with no family or friends.
This dark, awful place has had it's toll on me.
    Bandits, killing and pure anarchy.
But after all, I suppose, it's just another day in MineZ.

    THE END

Ah poetry. To read a novel is entertaining but poetry is like a treasured relic forged from great minds.
Best Minez poem yet that I've read, even if it is a bit 'childish' (haven't seen many but I think it would be hard to beat this one).

Treasured relic from great minds. You've just made my day. Thanks :D

Yeah, it sorta is a perfect representation of MineZ. Bandits, zombies, starvation, bleeding. The MineZ world is incredibly dangerous, but there's no way to escape it. I'm glad you and DarkApostle999 like this.

... betrayal, infection, sprinting with hordes, falling off cliffs, 'sounds like somebody is nearby' ambush, having half a heart and running into a cactus while running away, fighting in a dungeon, falling in lava, pigman rush, killing giants, discovering new places and stuff, finding areas with more animals than usual, etc.

Great poem, bro! However, I have two minor criticisms: Roughly 80% of your lines begin with "I." And you might want to consider a different rhyming scheme other than simply "aabbccdd." But poetry is all about what you want to convey and how you want to convey it. So write however you please!! Overall, I'd say it's far above average poetry and I'll be looking forward to more!

I sort of agree with this. In all honesty the poem is fantastic but can use stronger poetry elements.

I haven't written very many poems yet, and it's in 1st person, so I'm not really the next Edgar Allen Poe or Emily Dickinson. So I'm not really that good, and thanks for the constructive criticism. I'm glad you like it though. And I don't see whats wrong with AABBCCDDEE. It's not used very often, most poems are like ABABCDCD or AAAA *next verse* AAAA *next verse* AAAA etc
Some writers around my community said "Just write. You can always fix your mistakes later." I'm going to follow their advice, so while I'm going to be adding new verses in the future, I'm going to be tweaking my first few verses. .

Hmm... "aabbccddee" seems a bit simple to me. Aaannd if you were to do "aaaa"... I think you'd run out of rhymes in a hurry. But I've finished the verses you added. They're not bad at all. They kept me entertained and reading 'til the end! Keep up the good work!
