Class Suggestion - The Summoner

    So you wish to master the arcane arts? Well, I have a proposition for you.

    The Summoner
    The Summoner was inspired by conjuration found in the Elder Scrolls games.

    Class Icon:

    Class Tagline:
    "You are the masked conjurer. Summon different companions using your summoner's manual to fight in battle with you."

    Equipment:
    The Summoner starts out with a wooden sword, wooden tools (axe, pickaxe), mask, and an enchanted summoner's manual.

    The mask and manual used by the Summoner:

    Ability:
    Summon different creatures to fight for you. These include: slimes, spiders, silverfish, zombies, cave spiders, dogs, magma cubes, magma cubes, zombie pigman, and wither skeletons. The summoner pulls creatures from his book to spawn monsters and wears a mask.

    The cooldown is in the order of the pictures, but here it is in list format:
    1. Slimes
    2. Spiders
    3. Silverfish
    4. Zombies
    5. Cave Spiders
    6. Dogs
    7. Magma Cubes
    8. Zombie Pigman
    9. Wither Skeletons
    Pros:
    1. Able to summon different creatures to guard you and distract your enemies.
    2. A wide variety to choose from.
    Cons:
    1. A high cool down for stronger mobs.
    2. Dependent on summoned creature to fight.
    3. The helmet slot is taken up by a mask.

    There should probably be a limitation on armor worn, which I'm not sure if it's possible unless you have leather "robes" that cannot be removed. I also think that weapons should do half their normal damage so you have to use your class abilities and not just be a warrior with monsters for extra damage. Plus it'd maybe force people to be more strategic when playing the conjurer if they couldn't rely on their weapons and extremely strong armor all the time.

    It seems like the summoner would get stomped late game, but that might help balance it. Only have leather armor and the mask but able to use all the swords with no damage reduction.

    Now is the cooldowns:
    1. Slimes: 5 seconds
    2. Spiders: 10 seconds
    3. Silverfish: 15 seconds
    4. Zombies: 20 seconds
    5. Cave Spiders: 25 seconds
    6. Dogs: 30 seconds
    7. Magma Cubes: 35 seconds
    8. Zombie Pigman: 40 secons
    9. Wither Skeletons: 45 seconds
    The Summoner can have a maximum of five summoned monsters at once.

    I had an idea similar to this, but you could spawn zombies and skeletons with various upgrades. Every kill you get with a minion tht minion type can upgrade. The zombies would be the same as Minez zombies and the skeletons would have more accuracy and a small fire rate boost. If u'd like u may take some of the ideas Ghost

    That works as long as it does not make summoner too overpowered. Maybe if it reset when you died back to level 1 mobs.
