For gmail and some other email providers, you can add a custom tag after your email.

For instance, if your email is [email protected], you can register under [email protected] and the message will route to [email protected]. The +highlifettu is a tag to gmail that can be used for filtering messages. This allows you to register multiple accounts under the same email address for those of you with alts.

If, instead, you accidentally registered on the Shotbow site with the wrong email, you can now use /changeemail [ your email ] to change your account email.

Just another friendly service announcement.

We've been watching the servers and noticed a couple things:

• When a bunch of servers come online at once, you sometimes get partially filled games
• Late at night, people have trouble figuring out which server to join with so many open

As a result, we've created a server spooling system. The servers are put in standby after a reboot, and then only come online if there is not a server ready to join or if the current server ready to join is full. Basically, this means players know exactly which server to join, keeping games full (and intense) but also helping late night play time so that players are directed to a single server. Another benefit is it allows less of a wait time between open games as servers are smart about starting up.
