Wow, can't believe we're on our second Christmas together already. As a small reminder: The Christmas sale is still going on, providing you with 20% off Premium or XP purchases in the shop with the coupon code "CHRISTMAS".

Welcome to Last Man Standing, a competitive survival arena filled to the brim with loot, players, and zombies! The goal of Last Man Standing is simple: be the last man (or woman) standing at the end of the round. It is a Survival Games esque mode where you search for gear and slay vicious zombies to climb your way to the top of the pile of bodies around you. The round progression is as follows:
1. Everyone starts near the only water source on the map, remember where this is. If you don't you have a compass to remind you.
2. Once the thundering roar of the match start is heard you have a choice of either sticking around and fighting with other players in the middle or running as fast as you can to get some loot and fight off the undead. Usually half of the players in the round die by this point.
3. If you survive the initial bloodbath, all that is left is watching your thirst and planning your trips to the center to refill your water bottle carefully. Chests will spawn low-medium grade loot, high tier stuff like Iron, Grenades, and even slowness pots will be seen on zombies and can be obtained by fighting them for it.
4. Good luck!
Some changes I am working on right now:
- Adding helptext and documentation to make it easy for new players to hop right in and die -er, I mean PLAY.
- Improving performance, especially on map start, though it seems to be map specific from what I can tell as Labyrinth, Winterhold, Seqoia, and Desert all seem to not lag out in the beginning. If that turns out to be the case then I will just remove problematic maps.
- Enabling spectating. Right now it works, just need to tweak it to be 100% relaible at keeping pesky observers from being able to interfere with your game.
- Assessing game design and making slight changes to improve the user experience. One of the things we have considered is giving everyone 15 seconds of protection at map start and spawning a chest in the middle with good loot. This will give those that want to fight in the beginning something to fight over so the rest can run away and hope they aren't the next victim of an iron sword weilding maniac.
- Adding a few more fun perks
- Adding new maps - We are definitely open to community submissions here. I would like to stick with the water source in the middle of the map and stuff along the outside, though you are free to use your imagination to create new and unique playstyles for your map. All I ask is that it is fun to play and that there is one water source
- Bug fixes. I have addressed all major bugs I am aware of save for the occasional map that lags heavily on startup. If you come across a bug, please post it on the bug reports forum with the label of "Last Man Standing" so it can be documented and fixed.
Thanks for playing, and may you become the Last Man Standing!
