    Are you going to keep our 5 teams, or add/remove a couple? I think 5 was a bit too much, maybe keeping Cobra, Nightmare, Initiatives and Independents will be better. PR was never really used and mostly just divided players even further.

    Yes, but unironically, PR was pretty much empty except for 1-3 new players / lone wolf's who decided not to join Indies. It kinda was just there, if there were less teams then it could lump more players into a stable team so that people could work together more.

    I came up with team ideas a while ago, but I think that group spawning should be removed, and groups on independents should still be able to "team kill." Groups removed the purpose of joining teams imo. Becoming and independent shouldn't mean you can team with the 5 best players on the server and dominate, you should have to join a team to do that.

    We'll have discussions down the road about teams. I have some plans myself with regards to team mechanics aimed to address some of the concerns :)

    Or maybe a buff will be applied to one team if the other teams significantly outnumbers the other.

    Yes, team buffs are planned. Ideas are welcomed, but I will not be giving further details on that at this time.

    There was a lot of unbalanced teams just because people chose a team because of its color/name that they think is cool and STILL do, so maybe whole new teams?

    Also what about something so that if one team has like double the players than another it limits players joining that team ( says the team is full ) to balance the team choosing

    I think we should still keep those team names/colors because it kinda has been a sentimental value towards wasted. Along with that, teams should have a 10-15 player cap, the other teams will receive a minor buff to compensate until they are evenly balanced again.

    Maybe the player cap increases as the total players increases.
    The size of the cap also depends on the map size, more total players for a bigger map.

    Yeah that seems fair, Robert won't say how large the map is yet so these are guesses based off the old map. I think that a more focused shift towards teamwork will make wasted popular again. Anni has this done well, Wasted used to have large scale firefights at various locations and dz's and that was when it was at its peak.

    You better make that work...
    I'm guessing you'll have a slightly slower team with higher health and one lower health but faster.
    Then a team that needs less food but regens slower and one that regens faster but needs food faster.
    And of course on that's just default.

    Just don't make any of the teams better than the other.

    Kinda too specific with mechanics, I think it needs something related to the game. For example; if team A had 30 players and Team B only has 15, then Team B should get a buff such as spawning with an upgraded Pistol, or starting out with some ammo.

    It's a good idea, but if you thought into it with a little more depth. You'd begin to realise the balancing issues. Let's say the more experienced players join the lesser team, they get the buffed guns. Therefore they win almost every fight against the other team. Then a trend would begin, where people would join buffed teams at constant rates.

    I just think, to make things more unique. All teams should get different buffs to eachother, making some appeal to specific people. Some could consist around medical supplies, healing and buffing teammates. Whereas others could specialise in taking over towns and cities. This is definitely different to what you suggested, but I think it'd be a welcomed addition to Wasted. I discussed this in my new post.

    In addition to this, team buffs for ones that have a decrease in popularity would need to be looked at more carefully. Perhaps by making these buffs more overwhelming than others, but not necessarily more overpowering. There's always talk about balancing issues in Wasted, new ideas increase the risk of that...

    I will say that it is very unlikely there will be any modifiers to gun effectiveness for team buffs. Further, any buffs to weapons in general would be small, and aimed at promoting a specific type of weapon or method of application for said weapon. General damage buffs will not be happening.
